He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Abraham Path Initiative, an explorer for The North Face and the recipient of the 2017 Neville Shulman Challenge Award. His forthcoming book, “Wounded Tigris: A River Journey through the Cradle of Civilization,” will be published in 2022 by Corsair.
